What are binaural tones?

Binaural beats, also known as binaural tones, are sounds that can alter your brainwaves. A binaural tone is made when two tones with a small difference are presented separately to the left and right output of a stereo headphone. When you would listen to it you will hear a beating tone. This is created by the brain itself and cannot be found technically.
